About the CRC

The Fight Food Waste CRC Program aims to improve the competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of the Australian food industry.

The Program fosters high quality research to solve industry-identified problems through industry-led and outcome-focused collaborative research partnerships between industry entities and research organisations.

The Program aims to encourage and facilitate small and medium enterprise (SME) participation in collaborative research.


The CRC and participants will deliver:

New sources of revenue and market growth for food companies

Less wasted resources through the supply chain from grower through to consumer

Less waste ending up in landfill

More donated food to feed hungry Australians
