Director’s Elections will be held at the Fight Food Waste Limited (FFWL) Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held by video conference on 18 November 2021. Three Director positions will become vacant with the incumbents (all inaugural directors): Sandra Hook, Geoff Starr & Christine Giuliano, retiring by rotation. All Directors are renominating for further terms of three (3) years.
Having assessed the collective skills and experience of the Board, the required skill sets most impacted collectively by the retiring/renominating Directors are as follows:
- General skills: marketing/communication; human resource management; strategy development.
- Domain specific skills: commercial experience in food production, processing, manufacturing, health industries/related fields, retail, supply chain; consumer behaviour; change management.
Nominations for the Director positions becoming vacant are now open and must be made in writing ( 2 pages maximum) to the Company Secretary by 5:00 pm AEDT on 12 October 2021. Nominations must consist of a short biography and a clear outline of experience and skills relevant to FFWL including the skills requirements listed above. These are remunerated positions with necessary travel expenses also met by FFWL.
The FFWL Board will consider all nominees in the context of FFWL’s requirements and needs (including the requirement for the majority of the Board to be independent of the Participants) and will determine a final list of nominees by 25 October 2021 for voting to occur at the FFWL AGM on 18 November 2021 by the members of the company.
